About Us
My name is Steve, owner of Floyds Mobile RV Service & Inspection.

Before starting this business, I proudly served 37 years in federal service. I spent 4 years as a Crew Chief in the United States Air Force, followed by 33 years with the United States Postal Service — including 23 years as a Supervisor and Postmaster serving communities throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. I know a little about the importance of Customer Service. Integrity, reliability, and doing the job right were non-negotiable in those roles — and they aren’t negotiable now.

My wife Donna and I began camping nearly 35 years ago when our four kids were young. We started with a 6-sleeper pop-up and made memories across the country — from Ponca to Scotts Bluff, Fort Robinson to Indian Cave, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Homestead in De Smet to the Black Hills in South Dakota. We even made it west to Yosemite and San Francisco.

As our family grew, so did our RVs. We upgraded from the pop-up to a 40-foot fifth wheel with four slides — and eventually to a 40-foot diesel pusher motorcoach. Along the way, we experienced the frustration of RV ownership with breakdowns and I handled most of our own maintenance and repairs and helped friends with theirs.

A few years ago, I decided to turn that lifetime of hands-on experience into something official. I attended the National RV Training Academy and became certified in RV repair and inspection.

Today, I am:
• Certified RV Technician – RVTAA #3825 Certified RV Inspector – NRVIA #4002
• RVIA Certified Level 1 RV Technician #223433
• Licensed and Insured since 2024

Donna and I have been together 46 years and married 42 years. We’re blessed with four children and ten grandchildren. RVing has been a part of our family story for decades — and I understand how important your RV is to yours.
When you call Floyds, you’re getting someone who understands RVs not just mechanically — but personally.
